Sealed proposals are requested for Office Building Site Improvements. The work includes everything necessary to complete the project as shown by the plans and specifications. Complete specifications, contract and proposal forms, and information for bidders are available from the office of the County Engineer. Plans and specifications can be mailed after a request is received with a $100.00 non-refundable charge. Required bid package forms include Proposal Bond (BF1-1A), Experience Statement (BF2), Time of Completion (BF3), Personal Property Tax Affidavit (BF4), and Proposal Forms (BF5). Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates apply to this federally funded project. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid, made payable to the Guernsey County Commissioners, as a guarantee for contract execution upon acceptance. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond for 100% of the total bid, Certificate of Insurance, and Workers Compensation Certificate. All envelopes must be marked "Office Building Site Improvements." The owner reserves the right to waive any formalities or reject any and all bids.
