Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Franklin, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work includes the reconstruction of existing sidewalk and installation of new concrete sidewalks and curb ramps along several streets. Bids must be executed on a State Board of Accounts Form 96 (Revised 2013), accompanied by the Contractor's Bid Attachment, a completed and signed Financial Statement, and a bid security in the form of a certified check or Bidder's bond in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid price. Award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder. Contractors must comply with various Indiana codes, including requirements for E-Verify enrollment, Indiana Iran Investment Certification, and employee drug testing for projects greater than $150,000.00. Contractors must also execute an Affidavit certifying legal compliance. The Contractor awarded the work must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each equal to 100% of the contract price, maintain specified insurance coverage, and comply with all contractual and legal requirements as described in the bid documents and specifications. The CITY reserves the right to waive informalities or defects, reject any and all bids, or accept the bid from the lowest most responsible and responsive bidder.
