Sealed bids are invited for a Maintenance Improvement Program involving asphalt milling, patching, and resurfacing for the City of Franklin, Indiana. Bids must be executed on a State Board of Accounts Form 96 (Revised 2013) and accompanied by the Contractor's Bid Attachment, a completed and signed Financial Statement, and a bid security of not less than 5% of the total bid price. The project will be awarded in accordance with IC 5-16-13 and IC 5-16-14. Contractors must comply with various legal and technical requirements, including E-Verify enrollment for new hires, provision of an Indiana Iran Investment Certification, and drug testing employees if the project cost exceeds $150,000. Award is made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the City. Contractors must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds and maintain insurance as described in the bid documents. Submission of a signed bid constitutes acceptance of all bid documents and specifications. The City reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, or accept the bid they determine to be best.
