Site work and paving for a road / highway in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The contractor is responsible for all legal signing and traffic control. All work must comply with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation standard specifications for highway construction. Scope of work includes: 1. Scantleton Road: Begin at the intersection with Doud Rd, including the Y intersection, heading northwest approximately 1,584 feet by 15 feet by 4 inches with new 4 inch granite gravel base. 2. Zillmer Road: Begin at the intersection with Murphy Rd, including the Y intersection, heading north approximately 2,112 feet by 15 feet by 4 inches to the paved intersection with STH 27 with new 4 inch granite gravel base. All gravel placement should be completed by July 15th, 2026. Bids must be in a sealed envelope marked "2026 Road Projects." Bids will be accepted until 5:00pm Monday, April 20, 2026 at the Manchester Town Hall. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids most advantageous to the Township. Consideration will be given to the town budget restraints and project priorities.
