In general, the work consists of a multi-building improvement and replacement program at Copper Falls State Park in Ashland County, Wisconsin, and the Les Voigt Hatchery in Bayfield County, Wisconsin. Work includes selective demolition, building removals, and construction of new replacement structures; roof, siding, window, and exterior envelope repairs; electrical, plumbing, and utility upgrades; accessibility improvements; and associated site work. At Copper Falls State Park, improvements include roof and siding replacement, interior upgrades, electrical upgrades, and demolition and replacement of a flush toilet building. At the Les Voigt Hatchery, work includes a new potable well and utilities, exterior repairs and restorations to historic structures, siding and entrance upgrades, and improvements to an existing wastewater shed. All work shall be completed in accordance with the contract documents, with restricted construction periods during peak seasonal operations. All potential bidders must be certified by the Department of Administration prior to submitting bids on state construction projects over $100,000. All bids received from contractors who are not certified will be rejected. This project uses the single prime bidding and contracting process, where the applicable mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection divisions of work are bid first. The lowest, qualified, responsible, certified bidders in each applicable MEP division must be included in all general prime contractor bids. Sealed bids must be submitted either as a PDF via the eBuilder Bidding Portal (preferred), by US Mail or third-party delivery, or by hand delivery to the specified location. The bidder is responsible for ensuring timely delivery. Bid opening will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted.
