Renovation of a library in Ashland, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,900-square-foot library.
The work consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to replace 6,900 square feet of rubber membrane roofing. Sealed bids are required. No bid will be received or considered unless accompanied by bid security in an amount of 5 percent of the base bid amount. Bidders must have insurance coverage meeting the requirements stated in the Contract Documents. The City of Ashland reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities and informalities, and award the contract in its best interests. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after opening. Additional program requirements are specified in the bid packet. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than 5 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
