The Oregon Military Department (OMD) is soliciting bids from qualified, licensed fire alarm contractors to design, construct, integrate, program, test, and commission a complete, addressable fire alarm system with integrated carbon monoxide (CO) detection for Buildings 7300 and 7299 (Koski Lodging) at Camp Rilea, Warrenton, Oregon. The Project consists of a full replacement of the existing fire alarm systems, which are obsolete, end-of-life conventional systems that do not include carbon monoxide (CO) detection. This Work constitutes a public improvement involving the alteration, replacement, and modernization of permanent life-safety systems integrated into State-owned real property. The Contractor shall provide a complete, fully operational, and code-compliant life safety system, including all labor, materials, equipment, design services, engineering, permits, supervision, coordination, testing, documentation, and commissioning necessary for proper system operation and final approval.Both buildings are: Transient lodging facilities (hotel/motel-type occupancy) Not sprinklered Served by gas-fired furnaces and gas water heaters The new system shall include integrated CO detection and shall comply with all applicable codes and standards, including requirements for transient lodging occupancies.
