Site work, environmental remediation and new construction of a municipal facility in Warrenton, Oregon. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for environmental remediation for a municipal facility.
The intent of this contract is to address localized stormwater flooding by constructing a new bypass storm drainage line and abandoning the existing plugged storm pipe in place, in the vicinity of SE 1st Street and SE Anchor Avenue. The following is a brief summary of the major elements of Work that are to be provided by the Contractor. Approximately 380 linear feet of new 12-inch C900 PVC DR18 storm drainage pipe. Approximately 110 linear feet of removal and replacement of existing storm drainage pipe with new 12-inch C900 PVC DR18 pipe, including removal and disposal of sediment and pipe contents. Construction of new and inline ODOT Type G-2 catch basins and replacement of existing catch basins and area drains, including replacement and reconnection of the existing shallow area drain. Connection of existing Storm Pipe to the new storm main using a manufactured tee, and construction of a contingent catch basin if an active stormwater lateral is encountered. Abandonment of portions of the existing blocked or failed storm pipe in place, including watertight capping or plugging of pipe ends. CDF/CLSM backfill at shallow-cover and utility-support locations. Utility potholing and protection , coordination and temporary support of the existing power pole, and protection of existing fencing. Handling, characterization, testing, and disposal of potentially contaminated soil, sediment, and water within the identified potential-contamination area. Sawcutting and restoration of asphalt pavement, concrete curbing, gravel surfacing, landscaped areas, and the drainage swale. Erosion and sediment control , inlet protection , temporary traffic control , and related site restoration.
