Question Deadline 04/27/2026 Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, specifications, drawings, etc., must request it at least 7 days before the scheduled time for bid opening. Modernization of Housing 2024 CFP, Bathroom Renovations at Sites LA 40-1, 40-2, & 40-3, St. Martinville, Louisiana for the Housing Authority of St. Martinville. The work generally consists of the replacement of existing tubs and showers, flooring, toilets, vanities and lavatories, heat-vent-lights, wall finishes, electrical devices and fixtures, as well as other minor plumbing and electrical work and other necessary and required work for proper installation as described in the specifications and construction documents. Bids shall be accepted from contractors who are licensed under LA R.S. 37:2150-2163 for the Classification of Building Construction. Each bona fide bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA R.S.38: 2212(A)(1)(c). No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA R.S. 38:2214 or without the consent of the Housing Authority. All prime contractors are required to register as such through www.centerline.co/bidding. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the highest possible bid amount is required. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs. Partial sets of bidding documents will not be issued. Sub-bidders may obtain copies of bidding documents from prime contractors or by registering with www.centerline.co/bidding for electronic documents. Bidding documents in hard-copy format are available, for review only, at the Central Office of the Housing Authority. Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity, and payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages set forth in the specifications under the Davis-Bacon Act must be paid on this project. The site is available for examination by bidders and sub-bidders at any time during working hours by appointment only and with 72-hours prior notification to the Architect and the Housing Authority for coordination of Owner's operation.
