Site work for a water / sewer project in Elk Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes sanitary sewer system improvements at two locations. Pump Station 2 involves the installation of a wetwell, submersible pumping station rated for 250 gpm at a total dynamic head (TDH) of 34 feet, located at the southwest corner of Lake Street and Iroquois Street, equipped with two pumps, backup power, pump around capability, station bypass pumping manhole, and all other equipment required for proper operation. Pump Station 11 involves the installation of a wetwell, submersible pumping station rated for 365 gpm at a TDH of 41 feet, located at the southwest corner of Ames Street and Wilder Street, equipped with two pumps, backup power, pump around capability, and all other equipment required for proper operation. Bids must comply with all requirements regarding submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award as detailed in the bidding documents. Printed copies of bidding documents will not be issued from the bidding office; documents are available free for download from the issuing office's website. Registration for bid notification is required. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference is required for bid acceptance.
