The project consists of the 38th Place Storm Water Project, Phases 1 and 2. Phase 1 includes full depth asphalt road reconstruction, curb and gutter, approximately 200 feet of storm sewer removal, 850 feet of new storm sewer installation ranging from 12" to 72" RCP, bank stabilization using multi-layered erosion control mats, and other related work on Wisconsin Street in the City of Hobart. Phase 2 includes full depth asphalt road reconstruction, curb and gutter, approximately 1,240 feet of storm sewer removal, 2,315 feet of new storm sewer installation ranging from 8" to 72" in varying pipe materials, water service replacements, and other related work on 38th Place within the City of Hobart. Bidding documents are available from the designated website. Bidders are urged to register as plan holders. Two copies of the bid package and one digital copy via flash drive must be submitted, accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled opening. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities, accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid, or reject any and all bids.
