The project consists of 2 and 4-inch mill and fills, stop bar striping, and other related work entirely within the Town of New Chicago. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis. Two copies of the sealed bids, bearing the project name and the bidder's name and address, must be submitted to the Town Hall. A certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond equal to five percent of the total bid amount must accompany each bid as security for proper execution of the contract. A 100% labor, material, and performance bond will also be required from the successful bidder. Bidders must submit Indiana State Form 96 and be certified to work in the State of Indiana. Additional bidding requirements are included in the instructions to bidders within the project documents. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in bidding, or accept the bid that best serves the interest of the owner.
