The City of Norfolk is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to furnish and install various ADA and security access doors in up to four City buildings. Hardware and equipment may be required for up to 18 commercial doors. The project must be completely finished and paid for by the City by 4pm on June 29th in order to utilize Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding. Selection will be based on price, material life cycle, and the ability to meet the specified deadline. Instructions to bidders: - Return all required forms with complete contact information and the signature of an authorized representative. - Faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted; submissions must be sealed and marked "ADA Access Project." - All quoted prices should be F.O.B. (Freight on Board) to City of Norfolk, 309 N 5th Street, Norfolk, Nebraska 68701. - Include a cost and fee schedule on the bid sheet and provide a proposed timeline. - Bids must be honored for a minimum of 30 days after opening.
