Bring Fuel Farm into regulatory compliance by constructing a secondary containment berm around the perimeter of the farm, adding a membrane liner, and five (5) sump pumps. Replace components such as manway covers and add a new electrical circuit for the new liquid collection system. Bids are required for the entire work described. The contractor must possess a valid Class "A" or "B" General Building Contractor license at time of bid submittal. Bidders and all subcontractors must be registered as public works contractors with the Department of Industrial Relations and maintain active registration throughout the contract term. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the County of Marin shall accompany the proposal. Award of contract will be to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with prescribed requirements. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities. The work shall be performed in accordance with official drawings, specifications, and other contract documents. The project is subject to state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements, and prevailing wage rates apply. Questions concerning the Bid should be submitted online no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 21, 2026. Inquiries or questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications, or estimate must be communicated as a bidder inquiry prior to bid opening.
