Description

Renovation of a water / sewer project in Highland Falls, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

As of April 23, 2026, the project will readvertise. The work consists of providing professional engineering design services to investigate, analyze, and provide appropriate engineering course of action alternatives, as well as preparing preliminary and final design documents including detailed specifications, obtaining necessary agency permits, and bidding out the rehabilitation of Lower Bog Meadow Dam #2. Proof of qualifications to perform the work is required. The Village reserves the right to waive any informalities in the qualifications or to reject any and all qualifications for any reason. The Village is exempt from sales and use taxes on all materials incorporated into the work, but this exemption does not apply to tools, machinery, or materials not incorporated into the work. Contractors must comply with all Federal, State, and local laws prohibiting discrimination in employment and take affirmative action to ensure equal employment opportunities. Provisions concerning non-discrimination requirements are detailed in the Supplementary Conditions. Qualifications may not be withdrawn except by written request at least twenty-four hours before opening or until 45 days after opening.
