The Whitehall Community Library is seeking sealed bids for the demolition of a residential structure located at 18587 Blair Street, Whitehall, WI. The project includes demolition of the structure, removal and proper disposal of all materials, backfilling and grading of the site, and final leveling and seeding to the area. Asbestos abatement has already been completed, and documentation verifying abatement is available upon request. Sealed bids are due by May 1, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., at which time bids will be publicly opened. The project must be completed no later than June 30, 2026. The Whitehall Community Library reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the library. Scope of Services The contractor will: o Perform full structural demolition of the residence o Remove and dispose of all debris at an approved disposal facility o Ensure proper handling and disposal of all materials in compliance with Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) regulations o Backfill the site with appropriate material o Grade and level the site to match surrounding conditions o Seed the site to establish ground cover o Provide all labor, equipment, permits, and supervision necessary to complete the project
