Site work and paving for a civil project in Shirley Basin, Wyoming. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
The North Platte River Pedestrian Bridge Project consists of the construction of a new pedestrian bridge spanning the North Platte River in Casper, Wyoming. The project includes a signature steel arch bridge structure approximately 270 feet in length and 16 feet in width with a concrete deck, abutments and foundations on both the north and south sides of the river, and all associated site work including pathway connections, retaining walls, and site grading at both landings. The project also includes a bridge-hung 20-inch water main approximately 210 feet in length, a bridge-hung 4-inch sanitary sewer force main approximately 280 feet in length, a programmable LED lighting system, and pedestrian railing on both sides of the bridge. Work is divided into two phases, with Phase 1 covering substructure construction and procurement and storage of materials, and Phase 2 covering final installation, erection, and completion of all remaining work. The Work will be substantially completed by November 16th, 2026 for Phase 1, and June 30th, 2027 for Phase 2, and ready for final payment in accordance with Article 14 of the General Conditions by July 30th, 2027 for Phase 2.
