Garfield County is seeking interest from construction materials testing firms with expertise in roadway construction testing for the Lower Deadman Road Safety Project MP 10.23 – 11.91. Services will adhere to WSDOT standards and procedures for Local Agencies as detailed in the WSDOT Local Agency Guideline (LAG) Manual. The contract will be for approximately twelve months, with an option for extension. The work includes construction materials testing for roadway improvements such as guardrail removal/replacement, slope flattening, soft spot repair, and roadway resurfacing with cement treated base (CTB) and bituminous surface treatment (BST) over approximately 1.68 miles of road, all in accordance with project Plans, Special Provisions, and the WSDOT 2025 Standard Specifications. Submittals should include firm name, phone number, names of Principal-in-Charge and County Engineer, and number of employees proposed. Submittals are to be provided as one electronic copy and three printed copies.
