Specifications have been filed by the Board of Contract and Supply for the 2026 City Wide Micro-Surfacing project in Oneida, Herkimer, and Madison County, New York. Sealed bids for this proposal shall be received at the Board of Contract and Supply office, 1 Kennedy Plaza, Utica, New York, until 3:30 p.m. on May 7. Bids shall be opened and publicly read in the Common Council Chambers, City Hall, Utica, immediately after the time set for receipt. The Bidding Documents are available through the Avalon Plan Room website. Only official plan-holders are eligible to bid. A non-refundable fee is required to obtain an electronic version of the Project Manual and Plan Sheets, and printed copies or USB flash drives of the Contract Documents may also be obtained at the bidder's expense. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting at Utica City Hall, Common Council Chambers, on April 28 at 10:00 a.m. Sealed bids must be accompanied by a five percent (5%) bid security in the required form, and must include all required bid forms, affidavits, and statements. No contractor will discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, religion, sex, or national origin. The Board of Contract and Supply reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informalities in the bid.
