Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Akron, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The project generally consists of the rehabilitation of Runway 7-25 (3,268' x 75') at Akron Airport/Jesson Field by milling and asphalt overlay, including crack repair, minor safety area grading, and installation of temporary and permanent pavement markings. Prevailing wage rates apply. Contractors must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the contract documents. A Federal DBE participation goal is included. This project is not sales tax exempt, and bidders must include applicable sales tax. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price for the contract in the required form and subject to the specified conditions. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the bid and to reject any and all bids.
