Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bradley Beach, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This project involves the replacement of the existing 1,200 feet long failing wooden bulkhead along a portion of the north-easterly bank of Sylvan Lake along Bradley Boulevard from Evergreen Ave to Madison Ave. The plan involves reducing the width of Bradley Boulevard by six feet to provide room for the proposed living shoreline improvements and maintain a pavement width of 44 feet. Approximate construction quantities include 1,200 linear feet of Modular Block Bulkhead, 1,200 linear feet of concrete curb or curb and gutter, 675 square yards of concrete sidewalk, and other associated work. Bids must be electronically uploaded and no physical bids will be received. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid (not less than $500.00 nor more than $20,000.00) as a guarantee that the contract will be executed and a satisfactory performance bond furnished within ten days if awarded. Each bid must also include a Certificate of Experience, Certificate of Equipment, and a Certificate of Consent of Surety from a bonding company licensed in New Jersey. Bidders must comply with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Affirmative Action, New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Business Registration, State of New Jersey Worker Health and Safety Act, and OSHA as applicable. The Borough reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities, award based on available funds, and reject any or all bids in violation of applicable law. No bidder may withdraw a bid for sixty days after opening. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing, addressed to the Engineer, at the address included in the advertisement and to be given consideration must be received no later than ten (10) days (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted) prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.
