The project sponsor has identified that the SED utilization goal for this project is: 10% The project consists of the replacement of sanitary sewer on Ocean Park Avenue in the Borough of Bradley Beach, including drainage, sanitary sewer, and curb and sidewalk improvements. Approximate construction quantities include 1,815 SY of Roadway Trench Repair, 9,750 SY of Hot Asphalt Milling, 1,170 TN of Hot Mix Asphalt Surface Course (2" Thick), 755 LF of concrete curb, 75 SY of concrete driveway, 1,750 LF of 8" PVC sanitary sewer main, and other associated work. Bidders must deliver sealed bids by the specified deadline. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond for at least 10% of the bid (not less than $500 nor more than $20,000), a Certificate of Experience, a Certificate of Equipment, and a certificate of Consent of Surety from a licensed bonding company. The contract may be awarded based on available funds, and quantities may be increased or decreased per specifications. Compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Affirmative Action, New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, and Business Registration laws is required.
