Contract 225 is generally described as the demolition and removal of existing sodium hypochlorite tanks, and the furnish and installation of (3) new Sodium Hypochlorite tanks as outlined in the project specifications, located at Two Rivers Water Reclamation Authority, 1 Highland Ave., Monmouth Beach, New Jersey. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Executive Director, and clearly marked on the outside lower left-hand corner. Bids must bear the name and address of the bidder. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the Two Rivers Water Reclamation Authority as a guarantee (ten percent of the base bid, not to exceed $20,000). Agreement of Surety, List of Owners, Bidder's Affidavit, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Bidders Statement of Qualifications, Public Works Contractor Registration Act Certificate, Subcontractor Listing, Equipment Certification, Acknowledgement of Addenda, State of New Jersey Business Registration Certificate, and Affirmative Action documents are also mandatory submittals. Bids shall be made on the standard Proposal Form as designated by the specifications. Bidders must comply with P.L. 1975, C. 127 (N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27) Affirmative Action and P.L. 1963, C. 150, Prevailing Wage. The Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all bids. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty days after the bid opening.
