The scope includes replacing the existing primary play equipment with unused equipment from Farber Educational Center and providing owner-furnished, contractor-installed (OFCI) new safety surfacing and shade structures. An additive alternate includes replacing the kindergarten play equipment with OFCI district standard equipment, new safety surfacing, and a shade structure. The project must be completed within 90 calendar days. The estimated construction cost is approximately $1,860,000, including the add alternate. Prime Contractor must hold a valid Class B Contractors License. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference and job walk. Attendance at these is necessary for a bid to be considered responsive. All visitors must check in at the school office with government-issued identification for campus entry. Prequalification through Quality Bidders is required for projects estimated over $1,000,000. Bids must be submitted through the districts online bidding portal, accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond of at least 10% of the total bid. The district reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities as allowed by law.
