Sealed proposals are sought for Lawn Care and Maintenance services at County-owned parcels: Iroquois Trail, Seneca Park, 911/EMA Building, Robinson Building, and Old AG Building (Route 92). Services include mowing all lawns as needed to maintain grass at less than 3 inches in length and trimming along sidewalks, driveways, buildings, and other similar areas. Contractors must use a mulching mower or bag and properly dispose of grass clippings. The County does not provide equipment. Bidding is parcel-based; each parcel is a separate bid item and bidders may submit for one, some, or all parcels. Bids are per cutting, per parcel, on County-furnished forms. The County may award separate contracts and accepts the lowest responsible and responsive bid determined to be in its best interest. All parcels include non-mowed areas such as buildings and parking lots; actual mowed areas will be less than stated acreage, which is provided for bidding purposes. Bidders are required to inspect sites prior to bidding. Certificates of Insurance must be provided per County Minimum Insurance Requirements. Bids must be submitted on County forms and comply with the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty days after opening. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, or accept any bid or bids deemed in its best interest.
