Maintenance, inspection, testing, and calibration services for the Electrical Power Distribution System and all associated components at two VA medical campuses. Services include professional testing and maintenance of medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, panels, breakers, disconnects, switchgear, transformers, generators, transfer switches, protective relays, infrared panels, and grounding systems. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, and supplies required to perform electrical analysis, inspection, cleaning, adjustment, appraisal, infrared scanning, ground resistance testing, and functional testing to ensure reliable system operation. All work shall be performed after normal working hours, with electrical shutdowns coordinated a minimum of three weeks in advance and a detailed shutdown schedule submitted upon award. Services shall be performed in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and applicable NEMA, NEC, ANSI, ASTM, ASA, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and VA/VHA Directive 1028 requirements, with energized work permitted only when properly justified and approved. The period of performance is 90 days from the Notice to Proceed. Location: Central Alabama VA Medical Center - Montgomery Campus, 215 Perry Hill Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. Central Alabama VA Medical Center - Tuskegee Campus, 2400 Hospital Road, Tuskegee, AL 36083. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
