The work will consist of telecommunication cabling installation and repair services, including but not limited to providing a complete, functional, tested standards-based cabling infrastructure for the County’s use utilizing category 6 cabling to support high speed data applications up to and in excess of 100Mbs horizontally and up to ten gigabit Ethernet in the backbone system. All work must be coordinated with the County Project Manager. Bidders must fully review the bid documents before submitting a bid. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier’s check, or a bond in the sum of not less than 10% of the total aggregate of the bid price, including all additive bid items, made payable to “The County of Santa Clara.” The original bid bond must be mailed or delivered and addressed as specified, and proper notification or tracking procedures are to be followed for delivery. Bids must be submitted electronically through Biddingo.
