Inspection, refurbishment, and recharge of the USCGC Bailey Barco FM-200 fixed fire extinguishing system bottles. The contractor shall receive two government-furnished Chemtron 40-lb FM-200 bottles, perform all required maintenance to refurbish and certify the bottles, refill them with the required quantity of agent, and package and ship the serviced bottles for installation by the cutter's crew. Services include transportation from the pickup location to the contractor's repair facility, compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and shipyard regulations, and return shipment of the refurbished bottles. The Chemtron FM-200 system is discontinued, requiring contractor personnel with specific experience and knowledge of this legacy system. Replaced parts shall be warranted against manufacturing and installation defects for a minimum of one year. Work shall be completed no later than May 15, 2026, in accordance with applicable Coast Guard technical manuals, drawings, and acceptance criteria.
