The State University Construction Fund is seeking to contract with several firms for Engineering Services Term Agreements. Selected firms will enter into a Master Term Agreement, which allows for the assignment of various projects throughout the term. Projects may include analysis, modifications, replacement, or reconfiguration of building mechanical and electrical systems, including investigation and comparative analysis of design scenarios, building conditions, space requirements, construction phasing and impact analysis, cost estimates, and other services as directed. Projects can involve mechanical, electrical, plumbing, ventilation, fire protection and communications systems for SUNY academic, hospital, research, service, and facilities buildings. Additional assignments may include program studies, peer reviews, assessments, and verification of the integrity of building facades, roofing, structural systems, and other exterior envelope components. The maximum construction value for projects assigned under these agreements will be $15 million. Consultants are required to register for this procurement opportunity on the Fund’s website. Upon registration, they will receive the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and a link to upload their Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) by the submission deadline. SOQs must be submitted electronically in the prescribed format; paper or emailed copies will not be accepted. There are also specified goals for participation by Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) and Minority/Women Business Enterprises (MWBE).
