Notice is hereby given that City of Foster City/Estero Municipal Improvement District will receive sealed bids for the construction of the Emergency Generator Replacement (Phase I) Project at 100 Lincoln Centre Drive (Lift Station 59), 909 East Hillsdale Boulevard (Lift Station 29) and South end of Shell Boulevard Bridge between Shell Boulevard and Catamaran Street (Lift Station 22). This project's scope is to remove three (3) existing generators, install three (3) new generators, remove two (2) existing automatic transfer switches, install two (2) new automatic transfer switches, install two (2) manual transfer switches, connection to existing systems and all electrical wiring, conduits and associated equipment. Backfill excavations, patch pave area and restoration to meet existing. Bidding Documents contain the full description of the Work. Required Contractor's License(s): A California class A/B & C-10 contractor's license is required to bid this contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. Completion of Work: All work shall be completed within 180 calendar days for the date when the Contract Time commences to run Owner specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all Bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work. Owner may reject any and all Bids and waive any minor irregularities in the Bids.
