Site work and paving for a civil project in Hinckley, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Said improvement will involve the removal of the existing 36" corrugated metal pipe with a reinforced concrete extension culvert, the installation of new 48" CPSLP culvert, concrete footers & full height wingwalls, including premium bedding and backfill, asphalt pavement, guardrail and general excavation involving ditch realignment & fine grading with premium sifted topsoil in preparation of seeding and incorporating stipulated traffic control in accordance with the specifications and accompanying construction drawings to all aspects of the improvement. The road shall be closed for a maximum of 45 calendar days Each bidder shall be required to file a bid guaranty with the bid in the form of either: (1) a Bid/Performance Bond in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid; or (2) a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit shall equal to 10% of the amount bid, conditioned that the bidder shall, if their bid is accepted, execute a contract in conformity with the bid, plans, details, specifications and bills of material. A Letter of Credit shall be revocable only at the option of Granger Township. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Contractors and Subcontractors must comply with the prevailing wage rates requirements detailed in the Bid Documents. The bid will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. The Granger Township Board of Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
