Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Sealed proposals are requested for the following work: 1. 5,620 square yards of Asphalt Seal Coat, Double Application, SRL-E, using CRS-2PM Oil and 1.0% washed No. 8 stone; 2. 100,112 square yards of Asphalt Seal Coat, Single Application, SRL-E, using CRS-2PM Oil and 1.0% washed No. 8 stone; 3. 44,023 square yards of Asphalt Fog Seal. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $870.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Municipality. Bids for third class cities must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid, payable to the municipality; for other municipal types, it is at the municipality's discretion. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract within 20 days after award. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
