Managed East Chicago Housing Authority (MECHA) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) from qualified companies to bid on Siding Repairs and Gutter Cleaning Services. By providing these services, the selected company will assist MECHA in providing housing that is in a safe environment for all tenants and MECHA employees. Quotes must be received via USPS Certified mail, overnight delivery services (UPS, FedEx, etc.) or hand delivered to the ECHA Central Office at 4444 Railroad Ave. East Chicago, IN 46312, no later than 3:00 pm CST on May 6th, 2026. Submissions must be date stamped upon receipt. No submittals will be accepted after this time. Faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted. Women and Minority owned Contractors are strongly encouraged to submit a quote. Submit a quote marked “RFP 2026012 Siding Repairs and Gutter Cleaning” attention: Gloria Hinojosa c/o East Chicago Housing Authority, 4444 Railroad Ave., East Chicago, IN 46312, in a sealed envelope. If a contractor has submitted a quote in error, the original quote may be picked up and resubmitted before the submission deadline.
