Services are required for the proper removal and reuse, recycling, and/or disposal of Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) and metal drums, along with their contents, from two USACE Chicago District site locations. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary labor, material, and equipment for the work and must determine the appropriate methods for removal and reuse, recycling, and/or disposal in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations. Specific requirements include handling IBCs that contain or previously contained concrete admixtures, with two empty IBCs that formerly contained used oil, and one IBC containing used oil. Contracted personnel must be trained, certified, and equipped for all safety operations as per U.S. Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 standards. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the DoD Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) system. Quotes must be submitted electronically via PIEE online submission.
