This project consists of providing all materials, equipment, and services necessary for the construction, installation, and testing of a new 400 Hp raw water pump and VFD, new cable and conduit, new differential pressure switch, pressure tap, pressure gauge, copper piping valves, piping, strainer, and accessories as needed. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided by the Engineer. All proposals must be sealed, show the name, address, and phone number of the bidder and the project name on the outside of the envelope. Contractors must purchase bid documents, be listed on the Bidder's Plan Holder List, and submit a certified check/bank draft or a bid bond for not less than ten percent of the bid. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each for one hundred percent of the amount of the bid, with sureties approved by the City, are required from the successful bidder. Contractors and Subcontractors must comply with public works requirements and pay not less than the prevailing wage rates as established by the United States Department of Labor and the State of Indiana Department of Labor. Bids will only be received from qualified contractors.
