Renovation of an educational facility in East Chicago, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 40,000-square-foot educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received for the Central High School HVAC Project under the following Bid Categories: General Trades, Fire Suppression, and Electrical. Bids must be for complete construction only, executed and submitted on Form 96 with Form 96A, a Non-Collusion Affidavit, and other required documents. A 10% bid bond is required, and Indiana sales tax should not be included for materials to be incorporated into the project. The owner will supply necessary tax exemption forms. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds are required. Bidders must provide one completed bid form per bid package and include a written plan for employee drug testing (per IC 4-13-18) and Responsible Bidding Practice documentation. Subcontractor/material lists are to be emailed 72 hours after bid opening. The Instructions to Bidders in the project specifications are included by reference and all bidders are considered informed of the provisions, General Conditions, specifications, plans, and drawings for the project.
