The improvements will involve approximately one acre of disturbance. The project scope includes site grading, right-of-way curb ramp and sidewalk improvements along Meinig Avenue and McCormick Drive, construction of an ADA parking space, installation of electrical site lighting, concrete stairs, stone site walls, and ADA-accessible pathways. It also involves repaving an asphalt parking lot, landscaping, lawn repair, and drinking fountain installation. The contractor will be responsible for site preparation and coordination for three owner-provided and installed prefabricated picnic shelters and one owner-provided and installed restroom. Work must comply with City of Sandy design standards, the Dark Sky Ordinance, and ADA regulations. This is a public improvement project subject to Oregon's prevailing wage law.
