Refurbishment of three Audiometric Suites, consisting of a total of six audiology booths, is required in Building 200 at the VA Medical Center Northport. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and products necessary to perform a complete turnkey refurbishment of the interior of the audiometric booths. Work includes removal and disposal of all existing fabric-covered acoustic wall panels, doors panels, trim, and carpeting; cleaning and preparation of all wall and floor surfaces; and installation of new fabric-encased acoustic panels on all interior vertical surfaces, new carpeting, and all associated trim. All work shall be performed to maintain or improve existing audiometric efficacy and shall be compliant with IAC audiology booth refurbishment standards and applicable ASTM, ANSI, NFPA, and fire-rating requirements. The refurbishment is expected to be completed within three consecutive working days, performed during approved weekday and weekend hours, while the medical facility remains operational. The contractor shall coordinate all disruptive activities in advance, maintain strict safety and infection control practices, protect VA property, remove all debris daily, and return the work areas to clean, operational condition. The contractor shall submit required product data, shop drawings, samples, and test reports for approval, provide warranties on workmanship and materials, and ensure all finishes, acoustical performance, and installation methods meet the specifications and true intent of the Statement of Work.
