Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Northport, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

Work includes general construction and alterations to upgrade the existing chiller plant at the Northport VA Medical Center, including removal of existing building components and systems and installation of new construction elements. The project will be executed in two phases, with Phase 1 required to be fully completed and operational to support the medical facility before Phase 2 begins. The effort includes providing, installing, operating, and maintaining a temporary chiller plant that must remain in service until the new chiller plant is started up and receives final acceptance. All construction services shall include the labor, materials, equipment, and related resources needed to perform the work in accordance with the contract documents prepared by an independent Architect-Engineer firm, and all work must comply with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and instructions. Magnitude of construction is between $20,000,000.00 and $50,000,000.00.
