Work includes general construction and alterations of the existing chiller plant, including the removal of existing building components and systems, and the construction and installation of new elements. The project will be executed in two phases, with Phase 1 required to be completed and fully operational to support the medical facility before authorization is given to proceed with Phase 2. The scope also includes the installation and maintenance of a temporary chiller plant to support the medical facility during construction. All temporary systems shall remain in operation until the new chiller plant is started up and final acceptance of the project is achieved.
