Renovation of an educational facility in Northport, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Separate sealed bids are solicited for the 2024-2025 Capital Improvement Program at Northport High School under Contract No. 1 - Elevator Replacement. Bids must be submitted on the standard proposal form and sealed in an opaque envelope clearly marked with the bidder's name, address, contract name and number, bid opening date, and addressed to the Northport-East Northport UFSD. All bids received after the specified time will be returned unopened. Each bid must include a security deposit of not less than 10% of the base bid and all alternate bids. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder or all proposals may be rejected within 45 days of bid opening. The School District reserves the right to waive informalities, accept or reject any alternatives, reject any proposals, and re-advertise if necessary to serve the best interest of the School District. Bidders may not withdraw their bid for 45 days after the bid opening, except as permitted by law. Complete contract documents may be obtained online or as hard copies for a fee, with specific instructions for receipt and return of hard copies and addenda.
