Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, and services necessary to perform maintenance dredging of the entrance channel into the mooring basin at USCG Station Eaton's Neck, including all incidental related work. Dredging is restricted to mechanical methods, with an estimated 6,000 cubic yards of sand, gravel, and cobbles to be removed. All dredging work must be completed no later than 24 March 2026 in accordance with NY DEC permit restrictions. If post-dredge surveys indicate deficiencies, the contractor shall use the remaining time in March to correct them. No work is permitted after 31 March 2026 due to environmental restrictions. Dredging operations must allow navigation through the channel at all times. The contractor shall provide a cost per cubic yard for dredging, which will be used for contract adjustments based on actual quantities removed within the specified limits. Material shall be disposed of at the USCG Station Eaton's Neck Beach Site as identified in ACOE Permit # NAN-2016-00301. Due to shallow boulders and obstructions, barge access to the eastern half of the Beach Site is not possible; material placement in this area requires upland transport from barges positioned at the western half.
