The City of Sumner seeks consulting firms with expertise in architecture for municipal public works projects to provide professional services for evaluation of existing buildings, preparation of architectural/engineering design plans, specifications, cost estimates, and construction bid documents for facility construction or reconstruction at a public industrial facility. The upgrades to the wastewater treatment facility may include remodeling current building(s), demolition of existing buildings, and/or adding additional building(s) to the current site. The anticipated tasks include document review, existing building field assessments and data collection, space program, recommended masterplan improvements, master plan study document, and site permitting. Instructions to bidders: The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) should describe the proposed team, qualifications of key individuals, and relevant experience on similar projects. The SOQ must include: 1. A brief introductory letter stating the firm's interest in the project; 2. Resumes of no more than five key members, including key subconsultants; 3. A list of similar projects completed in the past five years with references and phone numbers; 4. Reference projects should note the involvement of the proposed team members; 5. A statement of assurance that listed team members, including subconsultants, will not be replaced without prior approval by the City. The SOQ should be no more than ten pages, not including the cover letter, resumes, covers, and dividers. Submit electronically in a single .pdf document by email or other electronic means.
