Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Sumner, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed bids are requested for construction of sidewalks and pervious sidewalks that are damaged due to street trees and deterioration. The project also involves constructing new ADA curb ramps at corners of intersections adjacent to the sidewalk work, as well as installing storm drains and storm mains near upgraded ADA curb ramps. Bidders must submit a proposal guarantee in an amount not less than five percent of the proposal price. Late bids will not be considered. The City reserves the right to waive informalities, accept the lowest responsible bid, reject any or all bids, revise or cancel the work, or require the work to be done in another way if it serves the City's best interest. All bidders are notified that disadvantaged business enterprises will be given full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex. The successful bidder must comply with federal Davis-Bacon wage requirements. Bidders are responsible for checking addenda and new documents online. The contractor will have 120 working days to complete the work in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Free vendor registration is required to use the online bidding platform.
