All technical questions regarding Striping Services are to be submitted no later than 9:00 AM, April 28, 2026 in writing to Pacific County Department of Public Works, or by e-mail to Jennifer Oatfield at joatfield@co.pacific.wa.us and Tony Wintrip at twintrip@co.pacific.wa.us with the subject line reading, "2026 Pavement Striping Services Question". All project specific questions and responses for Striping Services will be available on-line as received. All Addenda will be posted on-line for this Project by 4:00 PM on May 6, 2026. If further Addendas are required to be issued, the bid opening will be postponed. The work consists of the installation of approximately 44.50 miles of center line skip stripe, 9.32 miles of skip center stripe with no pass stripe, 83.99 miles of double yellow no pass center stripe, and 240.64 miles of fog line edge stripe, in accordance with the State of Washington Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction. Quantities shown are not exact; payment will be made for actual striping distances. Prices must be all-inclusive, covering furnishing and application of new or replacement pavement markings on the roadway surface in accordance with FHWA Standard Alphabet for Highway Signs and Pavement Markings and Section 8-22 Pavement Marking of the WSDOT Standard Specifications, including taxes and prevailing wage expenses. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a proposal bond in certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid proposal, made payable to the Pacific County Treasurer. Sealed bids must be delivered by 9:00 AM on the date specified for opening, either by hand or by mail, in an envelope clearly marked as instructed. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities in the bidding.
