Mecklenburg County is requesting Bids for the construction of the Highway 15 Bridge Utilities Improvement Project in Clarksville, VA. The Project includes the following Work: 1. Replacement of existing water and sewer piping along the Highway US-15 aerial bridge with 16-inch ductile iron watermain, 16-inch ductile iron raw watermain, and 10-inch ductile iron sewer forcemain, including insulation and jacketing, hangers (STA 0+47 to STA 18+74), various valves, hydrants, and concrete thrust blocks. 2. Evacuation of pipe contents prior to demolition to avoid unwanted discharge to surface waters. 3. Replacement of existing water piping along Highway US-15 land bridge with 16-inch C900 PVC pipe, including a fire hydrant, various valves, concrete thrust blocks, and HDD crossing under Highway US-15/VA-49 intersection with Highway US-58 to tie into existing 12 water line. 4.
