Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Elk Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
Sealed bids, in triplicate, for the Elk Rapids Schools – New Tennis Courts are requested. Bidders must ensure all proposals are received by the specified deadline at the designated locations. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Bids may be mailed to the specified addresses and must arrive before the due time; faxed, emailed, or uploaded bids will not be accepted. Each bid must include a sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure Statement, disclosing any familial relationship between the Owner, any employee of the Bidder, and any member of the District's Board of Education or Superintendent. Bidders must be reputable organizations with at least five years of successful experience on similar projects, possess required licenses if applicable, and have sufficient financial resources. Each bid must also include bid security or a bid bond not less than 5% of the bid amount, provided by a surety company rated A- or better or a certified check. The successful Bidder must secure Performance, Labor, and Material bonds for all contracts over $50,000 from a surety company rated A- or better for the full contract amount. The Bidding Documents are available for examination at the locations specified. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the site at the time and date given.
