Site work and paving for a road / highway in Burlingame, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Scope of Services: The work consists of installing traffic calming and striping improvements, including, but not limited to, thermoplastic striping, methyl methacrylate (MMA) paint, rubber curbs, rubber speed bumps, rubber median, and radar feedback signs, along Rollins Road between Broadway and Humboldt Road. Instructions to Bidders: Bids must be submitted electronically via PB System(TM) before 2:00 P.M. on May 19, 2026. Bid prices must be entered and the bid proposal packet uploaded to PlanetBids by the indicated date and time. No late bids or other methods of submittal will be accepted. The Contractor must possess a Class A or C-32 license before bidding. A hard copy wet-signed bidder's bond will be requested after bid opening; scanned and uploaded copies must be included with the bid. The bid bond required is 10%. Payment and performance bonds each require 100%. All required documents must be signed and included. Questions should be submitted through the PB System(TM) online Q&A feature by 2:00 P.M. on May 12, 2026. The project allows 50 working days for completion from the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages of $1,900 per day will be assessed for delays beyond 50 working days. Award is subject to final approval.
