South Jordan City desires to select at least five construction companies to be qualified for a period of two years to participate in a quote process to perform various construction-related projects citywide, not to exceed the amount of $250,000 per task. Qualified Contractors should have the necessary skills and experience to perform the work described above, and have demonstrated knowledge of APWA, South Jordan City, and UDOT standards. The process is a two-step process. This step is the pre-qualification phase. Once qualified, the selected Contractors will be invited to a quotation process via email as jobs are identified. The City projects are anticipated to include, but are not limited to: Streets - Curb and gutter installation, removal, and replacement; concrete installation, removal, and replacement in alleyways, parks, or roadways; ADA ramp installation, removal, and replacement; sidewalk installation, removal, and replacement; and asphalt patching or repair. Storm Water - Repair, installation, replacement, and removal of any of the following: box-inlets, manholes, storm pipe (ADS, concrete, metal, etc.), spill-way, storm basins, underground chambers, wet/dry wells, ditches or streams, pump stations, or treatment structures. Water - Emergency waterline repairs, water main replacement or installation, meter or PRV vault work, canal check dams, weir replacement or installation, and pump house replacement or installation.
