The Town of Guilford is seeking competitive bids from qualified and responsible vendors for an HVAC Conversion at Melissa Jones Elementary School. Each bidder is required to submit their original proposal plus two copies and one electronic copy (flash drive), as well as bid security in the form of a bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent of the base bid. Each bidder shall honor its bid price for ninety business days from the date of the bid opening, without modification. Upon award of the bid, the winning bidder shall be bound by the bid proposal price throughout the contract period. The minimum rates to be paid for labor on various classifications of the project shall be in accordance with the current schedule of prevailing wages established by the Connecticut Department of Labor, Wage and Workplace Standards Division. The Town of Guilford reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive defects in same, if it deems such to be in the best interest of the Town.
