Site work for a water / sewer project in Yakima, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes the installation of approximately 680 LF ductile iron water main, 1 fire hydrant assembly, 17 water service stubs, 645 LF sewer main, 285 LF sewer laterals, 2 sanitary sewer manholes, 220 tons of HMA, on-site sewer installation for approximately 55 properties including surface restoration and decommissioning the septic system, on-site water installation for approximately 36 properties including surface restoration and capping wells, and other related improvements. The contract duration is eighty working days to complete the work. Project questions should be directed to Brad Cooper, PE, at 509-966-7000. Instructions to bidders: Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a bond or certified check payable to the Treasurer of the City of Yakima for not less than 5% of the bid or proposal. All bids must be submitted in writing on the form bound in the specifications, sealed, and filed with the City Clerk's office by the specified date and time. Bidders must register as planholders on the specified website to receive addenda notifications. Not less than the minimum salaries and wages set forth in the contract documents must be paid, and no discrimination in employment based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin is permitted. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive technicalities or irregularities.
